Country style cooking. I did not care for the sugar in the turnip greens. Sugar in cornbread was another flop for me. I got grilled chicken, pinto beans and cabbage all good. However the turnip greens were horrible. Food not loaded with sugar was heavy on salt. You can see from pics this place is a senior folks magnet. Not a place to eat a healthy meal. But if you want a ol time dinner and that trip down memory lane. Belly up !

1st time we we I was ill so won't rate that. 2nd time it was great. We knew what to expect. Their plated special is great. Inexpensive and delicious home cooking. Wonderful staff that cater to your every need. We will go again soon.

No better place in Ft. Smith to strap on the lunch time feed bag. Old timey blue plate special/ cafeteria atmosphere..Family owned you never leave there without a smile. Great place for a wheelchair and even better sometimes they have a drive-thru. Home cooking at its best for a more than fair price. It gets busy at lunch time but there is lots of seating. One place you can recommend that 99% of the people will love. I have never had a bad meal there.
